Prasouda diet is considered one of the healthiest diets. In fact it is more than a diet: it is a healthy way of life.
Prasouda Diet is a variation of Mediterranean diet. Its origins in the Mediterranean countries: Greece, Italy, Spain. The name of the diet comes, in fact, from a small rocky island situated near Andros Island in Greece. The diet is therefore specific for Mediterranean populations, among which the rates of obesity and mortality caused by heart disease are much lower compared to other developed areas of the world.

The food pyramid specific to the Prasouda diet is made up of 10% whole grains, 10% olive oil, 20% meat (more fish and chicken) and over 60% fruit and vegetables. The dishes are easy to cook, but the food combinations and recipes are tasty and abundant.
This slimming diet takes time to serve the meals quietly. The ones, for example, can last for an hour. Slow eating gives the body plenty of time for the message that the stomach is filled to reach the brain. Usually, meals start with a salad that eliminates much of the hungry feeling, so when the main dish is reached, the stomach is already full. Most dishes are served with a glass of wine.
Wine is, in fact, part of the diet. Consumed in moderate amounts, the wine has beneficial properties. Flavonoids in wine function as antioxidants, which reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Olive oil is undoubtedly another important part of the Prasouda diet. The main reason why this oil is so important for the diet is that it contains monosaturated fats and Omega 3 fatty acids. Consumption of olive oil lowers LDL cholesterol, prevents clogging of blood vessels, strokes and heart attacks. Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids from olive and fish oil improve brain function and influence serotonin production. Serotonin is a natural drug of happiness, produced by the human brain, fighting against depression.

Diet Plan One Day Prasouda:
– Two slices of rye bread with soy and sunflower, with very little low-fat margarine;
– 30 g smoked salmon;
– 50 g of tomatoes and onions;
-150 grams of lean cow cheese;
-1 plate of mushroom soup, with boiled vegetables, with a little olive oil;
-100 g of cod in the oven;
-3 tablespoons of cooked potatoes;
-100 g of green lettuce, olive oil and lemon juice;
-1 cup of skimmed milk;
-1 cup of seasonal fruit (raspberries, blackberries, strawberries):
-150 grams of tomatoes and cucumbers;
-40 g of boiled cake;
-2 slices of ham.
Supporters of the Prasouda diet recommend moderate to intense cardiovascular training at least once a week. The ideal would be to make three to five sessions of 30-60 minutes of intense physical training per week. Daily exercise is the best option for health. The intensity of the training depends on the current physical condition, but the goal is to improve it by exercising daily.
