Abdos diet: the diet combining meals and sport
Created by David Zinczenko and Ted Spiker, Abdos is a diet where sport and bodybuilding play an important role. The goal being to strengthen the abdominals, you will be asked during this diet to work your back, your legs and your chest to achieve the goal. In addition to sport, we will need specialized nutrition and a strong motivation.
Alleluia: the diet from the Bible
The preacher Georges Malkmus who was supposedly cured of colon cancer is the inventor of the Alleluia diet. The diet, following the verse in Genesis 1:29, earned him the classification of “biblical diet”. The reference in this area is the first man himself Adam who lived 930 years thanks to this diet where food is considered healthy and spiritual.
Dissociated regime Antoine: the regime that tires
Belonging to the class of so-called “dissociated” regimes, the Antoine regime was founded by Dr. Antoine. The diet provides only one type of food per day for rest and well being of the digestive system.
The behavioral regime Apfeldorfer: a regime based on the psychology of behavior
Psychiatrist specialized in food behavior, Gérard Apfeldorfer invented the diet bearing his name which is based on the thinning behavioral approach. This approach targets the individual’s eating behavior rather than the foods they should not eat in order not to gain weight or lose a few pounds. In this context, “Taboo” foods are banned in a limited but not excessive way. The plan spans a very long time and is divided into several stages.
The ayurvedic diet Rainbow: a regime by the colors
It is invented by nutritionist Marcia Zimmerman, the rainbow diet draws its principles from Indian medicine. This diet, instead of taking into account the nutritional values of food, rather takes into account their colors. Of the 6 colors (green / blue, yellow, red, white, fawn, brown) that characterize food, the diet will be based mainly on 3 colors including green, red and yellow. However other colors can be added to your diet.
Astro diet: the diet by astrological sign.
Based on the astrological signs, the Astro diet is suitable for everyone, so everyone can find what suits him by referring to his astrological sign. The diet divides the 12 astrological signs into 2 groups including the salt group and the sweet group.
Atkins diet, a diet that promotes fat and protein
It was in the 1970s that Dr. Atkins published his book Dr. Atkins Diet Revolution in which he described the key stages of his dieting. It indicates that carbohydrates are responsible for weight gain and that by limiting them strongly, we can obtain beneficial effects on weight loss and on the prevention of certain diseases.
In 2010, three doctors, international experts on low-carb diets, published The New Atkins Diet for a New You which offers a whole new way of living the principles of the Atkins method, both easier to follow and more effective than the models presented in the previously published books.
The main principle of the Atkins diet is to control the carbohydrate consumption. It totally excludes carbohydrates from the diet for one to two weeks, then reintroduces them gradually. A rapid weight loss of 2 kilos takes place the first week then the weight loss becomes more progressive to reach about 6 kilos after one month. With Atkins diet: no feeling of hunger, no counting calories and no miracle pill.
Automatic diet: from a diet to a food habit
Created by Charles Stuart Platkin, it is the excess weight that the automatic diet aims to eliminate. Qualified as sustainable by its creator, the automatic diet is to follow several steps to apply the principles of automatic diet in your daily life without you feeling that you follow a diet. These steps are progressive before becoming automatic for you. There is no ready-made menu, you just follow the principles of the diet and you feed according to these.
